An aircraft, belonging to our National Air Forces has crashed while attempting to take off at the Nouakchott Airport, early this morning, July 12th around 07h 45mn…
The plane was to carry out a routine mission in the benefit of the TASIAST mining company. All of the passengers and crew members, whose number was 7 people (3 militaries, 2 paramilitaries and 2 civilians) have lost their lives.
The casualties are:

-  Captain El Hacen Ould Cheikhany

 -  Second-lieutenant Ahmed Ould Mohamed Salem Ould Iyahi
-   Sergeant Ahmed Salem Ould El Hadramy

     Two customers:

-      Brigadier  M’bareck Ould Bouna

-    Official  Mohamed Ould Mohamedou
  In addition to 2 Security agents affiliated to a  security company working for  TASIAST ;
-          Henoun Ould Mohamed Ould Sid’Ahmed
-          Ely Cheikh Ould REGAD

 

An investigation is open to determine the causes that led to the accident. Following this tragic event, the National Defense Ministry addresses its most moved condolences to the lates families and begs the all powerful to offer them his paradise as a shelter. We praise Allah to give their families the courage to endure this affliction.
